A name given at birth influences our fate in one way or another. Consciously or not, we strive to match the associations our name evokes. A name given at birth influences our fate in one way or another. Consciously or not, we strive to match the associations our name evokes. Today, we’ll discuss the process of creating the name for the brand LendPal — a company set to revolutionize the financial world by creating a friendly environment in the realm of crypto lending.

When starting the project, the following key objectives for the name were formulated:

  • Reflect the essence of the brand: The name should highlight the concept of friendly loans.
  • Be memorable and easy to pronounce: The name should be simple, memorable, and easy to read.
  • Evoke positive associations: The name should inspire trust, reliability, and friendliness.

Dozens of options were created using various name generation methods. Ultimately, we settled on the name LendPal — a name that best characterizes the company.

This name, created through the method of blending words Lend + Pal*, perfectly combines two key concepts:

“Lend” (“to lend”, “to give loans”): This word was chosen as the main element as it clearly indicates the company’s primary service — lending and providing loans.

“Pal” (“friend”): This word adds an element of friendship and trust, which is especially important in financial relationships. It creates the feeling of a reliable and friendly partner.

We sincerely hope that LendPal will become a successful brand that will change the world of financial services and benefit many people.

*Blending: This is a linguistic process in which two or more words are combined to create a new word. The new term typically retains the meanings and associations of its constituent parts.
